At this stage there is no time that can be spent to do a formal assessment and formal landscaping changes over an extended period of time.

At this stage when a community is put on an evacuation alert or is under an evacuation order Dowling Fire and Hazard Control can immediately respond and provide an on-scene assessment and mitigation steps to prevent home ignition.
This follows all of the same principals of our home hazard assessment and wildfire mitigation steps but does it in a compressed timeframe and removes hazards in the most effective short-term way without undue damage to the home.
- Removal of fuels by landscaping
- Removal of fuels by alteration of fencing and Decking
- Application of long-term fire retardant
